LES DRIVES DE SAINT-TROPEZ "LDST TOUR 2012"

 

The "LDST Tour 2012" is a Qualifying Tour of 50 Amateur Competitions taking place between March and September 2012.

Each Tournament the top 3 Golfers will qualify for a Final Cut to the 6th Pro Am of Saint-Tropez, which will be held on the magnificent private course of Gassin Golf Country Club, on October 17th, 2012. The first 3 winners will be invited to participate to the Pro-Am on Saturday and Sunday in the Team of the Champion Philip Golding (Winner of the 2003 French Open).

Qualifying Tournaments in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, USA, will be organized in different Golf and Country Clubs partners. Amateur Players will have the opportunity to win their ticket to participate in the final cut of the Pro-Am of Saint-Tropez.

During each stage of the "LDST Tour 2012", other prizes will also be offered, such as : Champagne, Bordeaux Wines, Official Polos "Les Drives of Saint-Tropez" and goodies, Golf stays in Arizona, Gift certificates from our Hotel Partners in Saint-Tropez, and an artwork of 10 000€ value from the famous Artist Sakki for the Hole in One Contest !

TOURNAMENT RULES

I Registration requirements

To be an Amateur Player registered in the French Golf Federation or any other Foreign Golf Association.

II Categories of Participation

1. Closed / Members of Golf Club Partner only
2. Open / Members of Golf Club Partner in priority
3. Open / Open to all according to availability

III Registration Conditions

Directly in the Golf Club front office or online

IV Registration Priority

1. Tournament open to Members of Golf Club Partners
2. Tournament open to Members of “Le Club des Drives de Saint-Tropez"
3. Tournament open to Members of “Le Club de Parcours Gourmands"

V Registration Fee

Payment of a 15€ per Player registration fee to participate to the Competition. The total amount will be invoiced to the Club at the end of the Competition according to the number of Players.
There is a minimum of 72 players participating unless otherwise agreed.

VI Tournament Format

Stableford Individual Competition Gross and Net Ranking unless otherwise agreed.

VII Prize Awards

Will be qualified for the Super Final in St Tropez: Top 3 players in Gross

Besides the invitation for the Super Final in Saint-Tropez, Players rewarded in each of three Series will receive Prizes among the following : Champagne, Wine, Official Polos, Hotel and Golf Vouchers from our Sponsors...

A Prize Giving Kit will be sent 2 weeks prior the Competition date and will have the following :
- Prizes for the 1st Gross and the 1st Net of the 1st Series
- Prizes for the 1st Gross and the 1st Net of the 2nd Series
- Prizes for the 1st Gross and the 1st Net of the 3rd Series
- Prizes for Longest Drive and Precision Contest for Men & Ladies

VIII Change of Dates

In the event of a cancelation due to a Golf Course calendar change, the Golf agrees to reposition another date in the 2011 Season between March 15th and September 30^TH.

VII Qualification Conditions and Prize Rewards

A - For the Super Final

Every Competition of the Official calendar will qualify 3 Players to participate in the stroke-play final round, which will take place on Friday, October 17th at the Private course of Gassin Golf Country Club.

Each qualified Player will also be invited in the evening at the "Welcome Party" of the 5th Pro-Am of Saint-Tropez at the Château de La Messardière.

Please note that the invitations to the Super Final does not include transport and accommodation costs. Special rates will be offered by Hotel Partners of the Event.

B - For the Pro-Am

The Top 3 Winners of the Super Final will be qualified to play the Pro-Am.

Three invitations of a 1 400 € value each + 2 nights accommodation at 5 Star resort “Château de La Messardière” will be offered to the Top 3 winners of this Super Final to participate to the “6th Pro-Am of Saint-Tropez”. A VIP Membership Card of “Le Club des Drives de Saint-Tropez” will be offered to each of the 3 winners.

Non-winning finalists wishing to stay in Saint-Tropez for the WE will benefit from preferential “Non Player” Membership Card of “Le Club des Drives de Saint-Tropez" and from preferential rates of Hotel Partners.

IX Hole in One Contest

An Artwork of the Artist SAKKI of a 10 000 € value to be won.

The Artwork will be handed to the Winner of the Contest (played over the 50 Qualifying Competition) by the Artist Sakki himself on Saturday October 15th. If no Player manages to do a “Hole in 1", the Prize will be back in play for the “5th Pro-Am of Saint-Tropez”. On the other hand, in case there are several winners a play-off will be organized during the Pro-Am week end to determine the final winner, by a precision approach contest in Gassin Golf Country Club.
